Cole Rothenberger

A streak of bad weather brought Cole indoors from tennis courts to table tennis. It was love at first sight!  Within a few months he was competing in tournaments and repeatedly encouraged to try out for the US Para team.  In July 2023 he played his first International rated tournament and a few weeks later invited to a high-performance training camp in Lasko, Slovenia.  Besides table tennis Cole is a successful entrepreneur and small business owner of a bonsai business and personal clothing line with his brother, Spencer that they started in 2020.  He has known no boundaries even though he was born with arthrogryposis in his lower extremities and has participated in youth soccer and tennis.  Winning championships in both.  His current goal is to qualify for the 2024 Paralympics even though he is considered a longshot; his performance thus far has secured a spot on the developmental team. 

Cole lives in East Texas and travels 3 hours to training.  He is looking for partnerships with sponsors that will be a win for everyone involved.
